If space is at a premium in a childs bedroom then a childrens bunk bed offers a perfect space saving solution. Usually bunk beds can be separated into two single beds if required but traditionally they are used with one single bed on top of a lower bed with a ladder securely attached allowing access to the top bunk.

Safety is paramount when it comes to the construction of childrens Bunk Beds and commonly the bunk beds are constructed from either wood or metal which provides a solid platform for sleeping on. Safety rails are added to the top bunk to stop any possibility of rolling out of bed during the night and in most modern bunk beds nowadays anti slip rungs are added to the ladder to make sure accidents stay at a minimum.

The choice between wood and metal usually comes down to a design descision. Wooden bunk beds are built from pine or rubberwood and can either be stained to produce a ligher or darker wood effect. Some wooden bunk beds are painted white which is a popular colur for childrens bedroom furniture. Metal bunk beds can offer a wider choice of colours with the most popular choice been silver.

We also offer a selection of 3 sleeper bunk beds which again are available in either wood or metal finishes. 3 Sleepr bunk beds offer a single sleeping area on the top bunk and a small double sleeping area on the bottom allowing 2 people to share. These are ideal for children that like having their friends over to stay and they can all sleep in 1 room.

Childrens bunk beds are delivered flat packed and are simple to install with full instructions and fixing kit included in the delivery. The bunk beds we have on display are sold as frame only but we do have a selection of mattress options available to select when purchasing the product.

The usual delivery time of our bunk beds is 7 – 14 days but we also keep a range of metal and wooden bunk beds in stock for immediate delivery by our dedicated logistics team.
