Collection. This collection is new for 2005. Features of this bed are as follows;
- 651 Flexiform Springs.
- Micro Quilted Mattress

Flexiform
Flexiform is Dorlux's advanced spring system and is manufactured exclusively
by Dorlux. A Flexiform mattress contains hundreds of small individual springs,
almost twice as many as a conventional sprung mattress, thus offering outstanding
levels of comfort.
Smaller and closer together, the springs work individually, supporting the
body and helping to reduce roll-together.
A 150cm size mattress contains 651 individual springs compared with 325 in
a standard open coil unit. With the Spirit you have the choice between a platform
top and a sprung edge base. The bed is also available with drawers.
Drawer options and a Sprung Base upgrade are available.

An open coil spring system is fundamentally one spring which runs continuously throughout the mattress. This is the most commonly used spring system. It incorporates rows of hour-glass shaped springs which are joined to neighbouring springs by a continuous small diameter spiral unit, called a helical. The perimeter of the spring unit is strengthened by a heavy gauge border rod or wire, top and bottom.
