Can I return a bed if I change my mind?
If you decide the bed or mattress isn’t right for you, you can return it within our specified return policy timeframe. Please be aware you will be responsible for the return delivery expenses which you can either organise yourself or we can arrange this for you with our delivery partners .
If Bedstar organise the return delivery, the fee will be based on the size/weight of the item and will be advised by our customer service team at the time. The fee is a direct cost from our delivery partners who will charge us for returning the item.
How long do I have to return a bed?
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return a bed if you change your mind. The bed must be unused and in original packaging to be eligible for return.
How do I start a return?
To start a return please contact us on 01423 863914 or fill out our returns form on the button below. Our customer service team will then issue a refund back to your original payment method.
Please note however if your cancellation request is made one day prior to the agreed delivery date, then your goods will have already been dispatched with the courier and your refund will be subject to a return fee which will automatically be deducted from your refund.
If the dispatched goods are returned by yourself then a return fee will not be incurred.
If the original order contains any free promotional item(s), these item(s) must also be returned.
We will only refund the full delivery charge if the whole order is damaged or faulty. In cases such as parts missing or faulty we would look to replace and deliver these promptly to you.
If you wish to return an item once you have received it, then we will require images of the item all packaged and sealed up otherwise we will not be able to arrange the collection or accept the goods back.
If we arrange to collect the goods on your behalf, it will incur a return collection charge. Please contact the team on the button below.

Will I get a full refund for my returned bed?
Yes, you will receive a full refund for your returned bed, as long as it meets the return conditions (unused, in original packaging, and within the return period). Please note that return delivery costs (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund.
Can I return a bed if it develops a fault after use?
Yes, you can return a bed if it develops a fault after use, as long as it’s within the warranty period. In such cases, we’ll assess the issue, and if the fault is covered under the warranty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund.
Do you remove my old bed when delivering a new one?
Yes, we offer old bed removal for a surcharge when delivering your new bed. You can select this option at checkout to have our team take care of the removal for you.
Can I return a bed if I’ve already assembled it?
Returning a bed that has already been assembled can be more complicated. In most cases, we do not accept returns for assembled beds unless they are defective or damaged. That said, feel free to reach out to us to discuss your situation, and we’ll work with you to find the best possible solution.
What if my bed arrives damaged?
If your bed arrives damaged, please get in touch with us right away. We’ll organize a replacement or refund based on the severity of the damage. Typically, we may request photos of the damage to expedite the return or replacement process
How long does it take to receive a refund?
After your return is processed and approved, the refund usually takes 5-10 business days to be issued. The amount will be credited back to your original payment method. Keep in mind that it may take a few additional days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider’s processing times.
Do I need to provide photos for a damaged or faulty return?
To assist us in processing your return for a damaged or faulty item, we would request photos of the issue. This allows us to evaluate the problem and expedite the replacement or refund process.
Is my bed covered under warranty?
Your bed is covered by a warranty that safeguards against manufacturing defects. The duration and conditions of the warranty may differ based on the specific bed model (please check product page for individual warranty duration). Generally, it covers problems such as defects in materials or craftsmanship.
Will you send a replacement part instead of a full return?
Yes, if your bed has a faulty part, we may offer a replacement part instead of a full return, provided the issue is covered under the warranty. We’ll assess the situation and, if appropriate, send the replacement part directly to you to resolve the issue quickly.
