Rubberwood is a light-coloured medium-density tropical hardwood obtained from the Para Rubber Tree. Are your wooden beds durable?

Manufacturers nowadays generally opt for a tough, durable, but less expensive hardwood for the centre of the bed before adding a veneer to the surface, which creates a more expensive-looking frame. These wooden beds generally look like oak or beech but are not as expensive. The veneer's thickness should always be considered, as thinner veneers are generally cheaper but prone to tearing over time. Generally, the thicker the veneer, the more expensive the bed is.
