Be careful, the ottoman frame can spring up with force when putting it together prior to adding slats & mattress. The bed is quite low, I knew this when I bought it. Overall really happy.

One thing - be aware , that ones you put everything together and the lifted part is up you will have to press really hard to get the bed down for the first time. I thought it was blocked / faulty when I struggled but it did close. Just needed a proper push down.
