The Shallow Base has a reduced overall height compared to the standard Recline A Bed base, making it the right choice where ceiling height, fitted alcoves, or personal preference calls for a lower bed profile.
All adjustable functions — including full head raise, foot raise, and zero-gravity — are retained in the shallower frame.
Twin motor mechanism
Two independent motors control the head and foot sections separately, allowing both to be raised and lowered simultaneously or independently.
The quiet motor system operates smoothly and is controlled via the included handset.
5-part adjustable slat system
28 sprung birch slats in natural finish are divided into five articulated sections, allowing the base to flex smoothly into every sleeping and resting position.
The sprung slats also adapt to body weight, distributing pressure evenly and allowing air to circulate beneath the mattress.
Padded headboard & low footboard
A generously sized padded headboard (122 cm from floor) provides comfortable back support when sitting up in bed.
