Good quality wood and fittings. Easy to build. Instructions could have been a bit more thorough (it is just four pictures). But for anyone used to building furniture it is easy. Make sure you have a good quality screwdriver for the slats!

The bed looks great once assembled, but the manufacturer provided a poor service. The bed parts arrived with 4 out of 8 bolts missing and the bolts supplied were much too short (and did not correspond with the instructions sent). The slats, which had to be screwed into the bedbase individually, were extremely short, barely fitted across the bedbase and some had the screw holes in the wrong place. The manufacturer also supplied a rather meagre amount of slats leaving fairly large gaps inbetween them. <EOL>Had it not been for my husband’s DIY skills and our willingness to source the missing bolts from a local DIY shop, we would have had to send the bed back. Shame. <EOL>
