What are the different types of mattresses?

Open Coil Mattress

The open coil mattress is a popular budget option that contains one long piece of metal wire coiled into numerous springs. They are the most common type of mattresses, but with the new industry innovations, they tend to be less supportive than other mattresses.

Pocket Spring Mattress

Made from individual springs housed in their fabric pocket, providing more support than open coil mattresses.

Memory Foam

Made from memory foam, a mouldable material that responds to temperature and weight and has hypo-allergenic properties.

Latex Mattress

Filled with latex foam, this mattress is breathable and prevents overheating. They are also good for those suffering from allergies or asthma.

Hybrid Mattress

A combination of pocket springs and other materials such as memory foam or latex. They often come as a pocket spring base and a memory foam layer, combining comfort and support.
